We invite applications for a one-year post-doctoral fellowship in IBISC lab, Evry University - Genopole with a possibility of an additional year extension. The Post-Doctoral fellow will participate to the SYNBIOTIC project (ANR Blanc) and be involved in collaborative research on the development of a behavioral language corresponding to an additional abstract layout of the structural description of synthetic function by DNA sequence grammar. The SYNBIOTIC project covers research topics of unconventional language development, safety and security methods, and compilation.
We are seeking a Post-Doctoral fellow highly motivated in cutting-edge research exploring the development of domain specific language and other computer aided design tools for synthetic biology.
Applicants must have a PhD degree in Computer Science and strong skills with some of the following topics: formal methods, compilation, discrete based biological network modeling. More than a cursory knowledge on biology will be also valuable. Good technical writing and good communication skills are required.
The University of Evry is located about 30 km from Paris within easy reach to Paris by train (RER D).
